Progress on a couple of things

I've found a football team that I am going to go and train with on Tuesday evening. It's a based in Wilmslow (which is about 10 miles away) and they play in the Cheshire veterans league, so I should be playing with / against players of my own age / fitness levels, which means I shouldn't look too much of a tit!

I'm also going to go and try the local driving range after work today. It's about 5 minutes away, and from what I've seen online it looks OK, so we'll see how that goes. As I don't 'do' gyms, I do need something to do once or twice in the evenings, and the driving range (when not too cold) would be ideal.

The skin on my fingers has got worse over the past couple of days. I don't know if this is because I missed two days of treatment (because of visiting parents) or if it's something else, but I'm not happy. I'll give it a few more days of treatment but if there is no change, I might have to give the shop a call and see what they say.

That's about it for today. If I think of anything exciting, I'll post more later, otherwise, have a great weekend everyone.

Peace.

Hi Simon,

Re: Skin condition

www.earthclinic.com might be worth checking as Apple Cider Vinegar has had results for a lot of ailments. I would suggest rubbing some in your hands diluted 50:50 with water and leave for 10 mins then wash off. Try that just for three to four days. I've looked into alternative therapies for nearly 20 years some work some don't there is also a weighted placebo affect so if you don't believe then it ain't going to be as effective. Plus comments from friends and family can effect your thoughts and so the effectiveness of a healing method. A lot of recent scientific research has proved this. May I suggest you go and see your doc again, Ok you've tried different creams but he/she might just give you the medicine or cream to solve this else go and see a consultant dermatologist via your GP if you have not done so.

Kind regards,

Julzes.

Julzes - first of all thank you for taking the time to post such a detailed comment. I don't know how you stumbled on my humble blog but I'm very glad you did. I will definitely try your apple cider remedy. To be honest the Chinese remedies have not had any effect even though I am desperate for it to work. I am about to register with my local doctor so I will be asking for more medical advice but in the meantime I will certainly check out the website and your recommendation.
Thanks again!
